You may or may not realize this, but there is energy
all around us. Our thoughts and actions (good and bad) affect this energy. We all
have the ability to influence this energy by focusing our intention to achieve
our goals, hopes and dreams. Whether you desire to make more money, have a
larger house, buy a new car, lose weight, find a mate, etc., focusing your
intentions by directing your energy and attention. The following activities
will help you achieve this:
Visualization
This is an excellent way to direct your energy toward a goal. Sit quietly in
a room and envision yourself thinner, richer, happier, etc. Feel, taste, touch
and see yourself in your new role. Do this daily for 10 or 15 minutes.
Journal
Writing
The simple act of recording your intentions onto paper
will enable you to begin building a solid foundation for your goals to grow. Be
mindful of what you are writing as you move your pen, form the words and fill
the pages.
Create
an Intentions Collage
Gather photos, text, drawings and
trinkets to glue onto poster board. Include miniature representations of your
intended goals. Hang your collage in a place where you will see it daily. Add
to it when a thought occurs to you. Have fun looking for found objects to
include.
These are just three ways to focus your intention to
achieve your desired goals. Be creative and open to new ideas. Opportunities
often arise when we least expect them!
